I feel terrible that I didn't stand at the end of the symphony last night (like I always do) but I had taken me boot off to whip at someone behind me in the audience, hoping my projectile would hit them in the noodle and knock them out.

I was afraid if I stood up said boot would come back

This morning I stumbled across this:
http://www.baldur.info/blog/10-things-that-we-should-change-in-classical-concerts/

who are you? And why do you think these things? ALL these things?
RECORD!!! He thinks we all have the right to RECORD the orchestra because we bought a ticket!!!!

Oh and the orchestra should be bombarded with every moron like him and his "ideas" backstage before and after a concert. With a drink in their hand, no less. And a recording device.

I notice the "comments are now closed" on his page. I guess he saw me and the ten thousand people ahead of me with a boot in their hand.

I'm turning into the bad guy in Jean-Jacques Beineix's movie "Diva"

"Je n'est pas….."

I'm grumpy this morning because I have been trying to send a message to someone I don't know.  And I can't.  I have to know them, first, in order to "connect" with them. But I already connect with people I know!  Long before the internet!  Maybe they don't want to know me?  I get that. I only want to share a compliment, but I can't.

Linked-In will let me, if I pay them. A monthly fee. I would pay, once, just to be able to do it.  But not $33 a month for the rest of my natural born life.

I guess I could say it, here, where no one except my one follower (someone I know, of course) will see it.
It's like this:

I have my favorites in the TSO, obviously Jonathan Crow and the lady that plays piano and percussion, Pat.  But I'm happiest when I can see and hear the double bass section.

So while I don't think the orchestra should be subjected to people backstage (drunk with recording devices or otherwise) I do think it would be nice if they all had a fan page (for their instruments as well) wherein we could send a message.
That's all.
